Hello!~ 

I’m Goldie, a Taiwanese American artist based in Southern Nevada. My art is shaped by passions for wildlife and plant ecology, environmental stewardship, & community building through shared outdoor adventures. When I am not creating, you can find me in the mountains or desert ~ skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, biking, kayaking, birding and botanizing. I am always looking to explore new media and movement practices ~ from knitting and printmaking, to scuba diving & yoga.

Professionally, I have worked in pharmacology, trail work, conservation, & restoration ecology. However, being raised among creative women who expressed creativity through food, fabric, paint, and paper, I have always loved drawing and making things. Some of my dream jobs include: children’s book illustrator, surface pattern designer for outdoor gear, environmental education illustrator, professional amateur ski park rat, wildlife/adventure videographer/photographer, and upcycling crafter extraordinaire.
